Research: Development of brand identity and value

was critical to providing a baseline to begin the design

process. Definition of Traxon's product brand positioning from design aesthetics to tiered pricing development was done.

DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURING

Initial concept design for the Washer Pro

DFM: This design phase was critical as it brought in multiple groups, such as Design, Manufacturing and product marketing.

Critical design features were developed:

Cable management
Rain and elements drainage
Modular construction

Form and Function : Development of functional design details such as a drainage system for rain, snow and debris was incorporated.

Rock Guard Design : Elegant designs were incorporated into the fixture. This would give a typically basic designed accessory a flair and luxury brand identity.

Design profiles and proportions incorporate a modern and sophisticated silhouette. Cable management takes in

considerations the forms. Cables are hidden inside the arms.

Keys to success: Aurora guided manufacturing in industrial design and physical identity. Making sure details carried through the family with care.

Aurora developed a series of release brand videos comprising of animations and effects. This was to showcase the Washer Pro series during it's launch in New York City.
